Jai Sachchidanand Sangh and Bay Area Mahatmas are extremely humbled and excited to announce both Guru Purnima and JSSY Shibir 2012 to be held at Jain Center of Northern California in Milpitas CA. Bay Area Mahatmas whole heartily welcome all JSSY to attend the Shibir and each and everyone to celebrate the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima.

Listed below are the logistics that each ATTENDEE and REGIONAL COORDINATOR is advised to note.

IMPORTANT YOUTH SHIBIR INFORMATION
1. JSSYouth Shibir will be held at Jain Center of Northern California in Milpitas, CA from June 30 (noon) thru July 2, 2012 (noon).
2. JSSYouth Shibir is for members aged 5-45!
3. Transportation and Hotel Accommodations will be provided for each member who REGISTERS before MAY 15th!
(It is the responsibility of each regional coordinator to make sure each member who plans on attending Youth Shibir is registered and accounted for)
4. Transportation will only be provided from San Jose Airport (SJC) on June 30th.

IMPORTANT GURU PURNIMA INFORMATION
1. Guru Purnima will be held at Jain Center of Northern California from Sunday, July 1 morning until July 3rd evening (Guru Purnima is for ALL ages!)

Please note that this year we have exciting programs on the July 3rd (GP DAY) evening. Plan your return on July 4th.
2. REGISTRATION MUST be completed NO LATER than MAY 20th, 2012!!!! THIS IS ABSOLUTELY MANDATORY!
Regional coordinators are responsible to account for EACH ATTENDEE (all ages, including SENIORS) from their region!
3. Airport and Hotel accommodation information is listed on the Guru Purnima 2012 website (provided below) everyone must arrange their OWN accommodations!

5. The Cultural Show(s) registraton deadline is MAY 20th!

JSSY Gujarati 201 Webinar Classes starting in February January 24, 2012

Jai Sachidanand Dadaji’s GUJARATI LEARNERS!

As many of you may or may not already know JSSY Gujarati 201 (intermediate) is now soon to be available!!

We understand the time constraints many of you have with work, school and even family but our Webinar are very flexible and structured in a manner, which are ever accommodating. Dadaji this year, especially has emphasized the importance of learning Gujarati. That being said our only goal is to teach Dada’s Parivaar our "Matru Basha," which ultimately will allow us to flourish in Akram Vignan.

Gujarati 201 (Intermediate) is available for learners who will PASS Gujarati 101 (instructed by Nehaben, Fall 2011) or ALREADY have a foundation of reading and writing simple words and speaking Gujarati but need to brush up their skills. Instructed by Usha Auntie, this class will contain 8 webinar sessions every OTHER Sunday afternoon beginning on February 5, 2011 at 3:30PM PST! ( Class Dates: Sunday 02/5, 02/19, 03/11, 03/25, 04/8, 04/22, 05/6, 05/20)

The JSSY Gujarati Team is VERY proud of our students and ENCOURAGE everyone to participate! ALSO, to facilitate the learning process, we have constructed a website where students can access, homework, calendars and assignments.

JSS Youth invites all Youth and Adult Mahatma’s around the globe to participate in the Int’l Kirtan Bhakti which will be held on the auspicious occasion of the Prakash Parva (Punyatithi) of Shri ‘Dada Bhagwan’ on Sunday January 8, 2012 8:00 – 9:00 AM IST (Saturday January 7, 2012 [8:30 PM CST]). Mahatmas worldwide will be able to partake in Shri ‘Dada Bhagwan’s Prakash Parva as one united Sangh. We would like everyone to join us for a one hour Kirtan Bhakti led by Kaviraj, followed by PPS Kanudadaji’s Satsangh from Shri Dada Bhagwan Sat-Sthanak, Kelanpuri Tirthdham, Vadodara. This inspiration came directly from the agna given by PPS Kanudadaji to gather for Kirtan Bhakti each year. Dadaji has explained many times, that doing Vidhis and Kirtan Bhakti by yourself brings you the fruit of just one prayer. However, doing them with 100 Mahatmas, brings you the fruit of a 100 prayers. So please join us in celebrating this auspicious occasion, united as one Sangh. The entire event will be broadcasted online on USTREAM at the following link.
