Dear friends,

_0000_personal.jpg?Status=Temp&sfvrsn=2 Holistic Science – Personal Experience

It is my great opportunity to share with you how the Holistic Inner Science has transformed my vision of the world, and thus my life. Before I was exposed to this vision, I would go to a place of worship and get temporary peace but no answers to my burning questions in life.

_0002_intro-holistic.jpg?Status=Temp&sfvrsn=2 Holistic Science – an introduction

In this age when science is predominant, our intellect tries to understand things in terms of logic, reason and rational explanation. Science is vigyan or vishesh gyan, that is, special knowledge, and there are two aspects of it. One is the science of ever-evolving relative things, termed as material, physical or outer science, and the other is inner science, the science of the inner-self.

Atharvaveda contains a beautiful hymn as an invocation to mother earth which teaches us to love and preserve the beautiful, natural environment by living in harmony with nature. Our mother Earth is the only planet of the solar system nurturing life. Earth gives us food and nourishes us. Different nations live on this earth, in different parts. But though separated by national boundaries, we are a global family, ‘Vashudhaiv Kutumbakam’.

It is beautiful to be here, to see the quest of learning and the quest of Being. These days there is so much "doing", but the quest of "being" is more important. We are human beings but it looks like we are actually becoming "human doings". All you see is people doing, doing and doing, reaching where no one knows.

Tribute to Mahatma Himatbhai Mehta May 4, 2013

Filed under: Announcements — jssyouth @ 8:20 am

Dada Bhagwan Na Aseem Jai Jaikar Ho

Dearest Mahatmas & Friends,

Jai Sachchidanand,

We feel highly obliged for your condolence message, presence, phone, etc. and are thankful for your whole hearted support in this time.

Mahatma Himatbhai was the Principal of N.M. College of Agriculture, Navsari from 1978-88 and ‘Acharya’ of Aptaputras. He served in Dept. of Agriculture, Gujarat Government from 1951 and then with Gujarat Agricultural University since its establishment.
He was the first Soil Physicist of Gujarat State.

He met Dada Bhagawan in August 1976. He was blessed with ‘Swarup Gyan’ on 6th November 1976. He was spiritually inclined since his young age and was searching for Right Gyan. Dadaji along with Present Gyani Purush PPS KanuDadaji, M. Bhupendrabhai and M.Bhaveshbhai came to Navsari for the first time on their way to Mumbai sometime around the end of April 1977.

He was telling Dadaji that my intellect is obstructing me in understanding Gyan. While in Sammetshikhar’s yatra in 1978, he complained about food to Dadaji. Dadaji fired him a lot. Later he told Dadaji that by your grace now my intellect is now silent. Dadaji told him that I have operated on your ‘Negative Buddhi’ which was hindering your progress. And he did experience that ‘Negative Buddhi’ has never raised its head in his remaining life.

Despite passing through adverse circumstances during his life, he has never ever wished ill or thought negative for anyone, even while serving in his job.
Before leaving University in 1987-88, an enquiry was initiated against him on some flimsy grounds but he had remained steadfast in his practice of Dada Bhagwan’s Gyan of ‘Nirdosh Drishti’ and never had any sort of revengeful thinking or actions despite being a senior administrative authority. He was having very clear vision of administration and was always giving credit to others and keeping everyone with him. He never used to impose his decisions on others.

In 1987 Dadaji suggested him to stay at Samyamdham, Singod as Acharya of Aptaputras. He immediately honored Dadaji’s wish but Dadaji told him to also take Mahatma Hasuben [our mother] and Mahatma Kaumudiniben [our sister who expired in 1999]. Both of them agreed and so he took both of them to Singod with him. They never thought of the condition of the facilities or being away from the comfort of their own home. His dedication to Dadaji was impeccable.

Mahatma Himatbhai used to tell us his experience that whenever it happened to have a bank balance of about Rs.5,000 or more, he was sure that Dadaji would come to Navsari. Dadaji always used to over stay at Navsari out of consideration to Mahatma Himatbhai & all Mahatma’s Bhaav. All Mahatmas used to enjoy great satsang there. Mahatmas from Vadodara, Mumbai, Ahmedabad and South Gujarat liked to attend Satsangs at Navsari. Mahatma Himatbhai’s sincerity for Dadaji and his Gyan was excellent. He always insisted to pay for all College/University’s facilities used during Dadaji’s satsang program.

Dada Bhagawan’s grace on him was so much that he never used to take sides and have favorites, even of his own son Aptaputra Mineshanandji as well. In 4th semester exam of BSc (Agri), Aptaputra Mineshanandji got ‘B’ grade in Statistics subject due to a difference of just one mark. Even though the mistake was apparently of the University but Mahatma Himatbhai neither requested subject Professor nor the Vice-Chancellor/University authorities. Had Mahatma Himatbhai taken a favor of Aptaputra Mineshanandji, he would have maintained his University First rank and two more gold Medals. So, in his life, Mahatma Himatbhai has never favored even his family members and remained impartial, neutral for all. This incident was accepted very sportily by both of them as a result received from ‘Vyavasthit Shakti.’

He lived life with simplicity, straight forwardness, sincerity, honesty and morality. His outer living and inner state of being both were excellent and in harmony.

When Aptaputra Bharatanandji graduated and joined service with Govt. of Gujarat, people started to enquire about him for marriage. At that time Bharatanandji told Mahatma Himatbhai that he was not interested in marriage and wanted to dedicate and devote his entire life to Dada Bhagwan and Dadaji’s Jagat Kalyan Mission. Mahatma Himatbhai told him that, “If I had met Dada Bhagwan at your age and had received Gyan, I would have also become a celibate like you.”

He always respected all Mahatmas of all ranks without any bias or partiality. He regarded all as helpful instruments for him to understand and progress further in Dadaji’s Gyan. Such was his devotion. After retirement from College in 1988, due to his intent keenness to understand this Gyan further and in greater depth, he started inner purusharth for speedy progress on Mokshmarg. He was taking all difficult incidents as hidden blessings to progress in Mokshamarg and did not find fault of others. Dadaji’s Gyan helped him immensely in his life to remain Positive. There was a time, when his colleagues, Professors and students were afraid to even enter his chamber, but after receiving Dadaji’s Gyan, his attitude changed totally.
In the last six months he had problem of Parkinson’s disease and effects of it was increasing day by day. But he was steady in his own Shuddh Atma state and result was experienced in his last months. He never got annoyed even though we were not able to understand his speech. He was able to speak only two sentences clearly: “Hu Shuddh Atma chhu” & “Hu Dada Bhagawan jevo Shuddh Atma chhu.” On 22nd April evening, we requested PPS Kanu Dadaji to visit him for a few minutes in the hospital & bless him. Dadaji immediately agreed and he came there shortly. Even though PPS Kanu Dadaji was having back pain, room was on first floor and facility of lift was not there; he came to bless him. When he came to know about PPS Kanu Dadaji’s arrival to bless him in the Hospital, Mahatma Himatbhai asked us to bring ‘Mala-garland’ to offer Dadaji. PPS KanuDadaji did vidhi for him, spoke Siddha-Stuti for about 20 minutes and asked Himatbhai to repeat within. Even PPS KanuDadaji made Himatbhai to do ‘Bhaavana & also gave Sharanu of Shri Simandhar Swami.’ Himatbhai garlanded Dadaji with his own hands while he lay in the bed & was very happy to do it. PPS Kanudadaji told him that, “He has done very good inner cleaning and is in complete Samadhi.”

On 23rd April morning, while Tri-mantra, Namaskar vidhi, Nav kalamo & Shri Simandhar Swami Aarti was sung by about 20 people around him, Mahatma Himatbhai attained Samadhi Mrityu [maran] when the 3rd stanza of Simandhar Swami Aarti was going on. He passed away so peacefully that very few of present there even realized it.

By the grace of Dadaji Mahatmas remain in inner Samadhi state that we have experienced. Mahatma Himatbhai was having ‘Dharma dhyan in external behaviour and Shukla dhyan in inner state.’ Without any doubt he is progressing further on the path of liberation with link to Shri Simandhar Swami and will continue being instrumental in Dadaji’s Jagat Kalyan Yagna and also will help us with his blessings.
